From Frustration to Flexibility

When I joined Spekit, the website was a fully custom-coded WordPress site. While visually appealing, it came with a significant drawback: limited accessibility for the team. Every update—whether swapping a logo, updating text, or changing links—required going through an agency. Even after changes intended to grant the team more editing power, frustrations persisted. Simple changes remained cumbersome, and major updates, like redesigning the navigation and footer, were nearly impossible without external help.

The Solution: Migrating to Webflow

In October 2023, we signed a contract with Webflow, determined to overhaul the entire site. Over the next three months, we rebuilt the site from the ground up, incorporating design, SEO, and UX enhancements. Key improvements included:

• New navigation and footer for a seamless user experience and improved SEO performance.
• Site search functionality, making content discovery effortless.
• Filterable Resource Hub, powered by FinSweet’s CMS Combine, showcasing all resources in one place.
• Lottie animations, enhancing visual appeal and improving site performance.
• Custom CMS Collections for search, filterable solutions, and reusable template libraries.

The Results: A Game-Changing Launch

The new site launched in early January 2024—an impressive turnaround of under three months. Post-launch, we saw near-immediate increases in user engagement, a testament to the improved functionality and design.
